Jordi Weinstock is an Affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society and a Senior Advisor to Harvard’s Institute for Rebooting Social Media. He serves as a Lecturer at Harvard Law School, teaching courses such as Internet & Society: The Technologies and Politics of Control, Medical Artificial Intelligence: Ethics, Law, & Policy, and Autonomous Vehicles and the Law. He has also guest-lectured on topics ranging from copyright law to AI ethics and foreign intelligence at institutions like MIT and Harvard Medical School.
His research interests focus on the intersection of technology, law, and policy, particularly in digital platforms governance, medical AI ethics, and intellectual property. He co-authored Torts!, a widely used tort law casebook with Jonathan Zittrain. Jordi has advised numerous projects, including the Assembly program (focusing on disinformation), the H2O digital casebook platform, and the Perma.cc citation archiving project (a Webby award-winning initiative).
He has also engaged with healthcare advocacy, lecturing at Harvard Medical School on patient perspectives in neurological illness and advocating for the Multiple Sclerosis community. His work bridges academia, industry, and civil society to address challenges in technology’s societal impact.
