Jordi Peraferrer serves as a Lecturer in Technical Drawing at Barcelona EINA University Centre, holding continuous teaching appointments since the 2009-2010 academic year where he acts as first-year coordinator for the design degree program. Previously, he taught Technical Drawing for Interior Design during the 2000-2001 and 2008-2009 academic periods at the same institution.
His research and professional practice focuses on technical drawing applications within architectural restoration and commercial interior design. Key projects include restoration work on La Casa Lleó Morera and the Palau dels Marquesos de Sentmenat, alongside contributions to major Barcelona developments like the Museu de Zoología extension and Hotel Granados 83. His expertise bridges academic instruction with real-world architectural implementation.
His 2018 publication analyzes commercial interior design as cultural heritage, examining the Mañach shop through lenses of spatial identity and historical preservation. This work reflects broader trends connecting retail environments to intangible cultural value within urban contexts.
Professional collaborations span elite architecture studios including Jaume Bach and Gabriel Mora, Carles Bassó, Cristian Cirici & associats, wm8 architecture, Arcadhoc studio, and Gloria Lladó studio. These partnerships drive his involvement in landmark projects such as Escola Josep María Jujol, Centre comercial les Glòries, and Poble Nou district lofts.
