Dr. Jordan Woodsworth is a Clinical Professor at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, and serves as Director of the Northern Engagement and Community Outreach (NECO) program. She is a small animal clinician with expertise in addressing animal health and welfare inequities in Canada through community-led initiatives.

Her research focuses on qualitative health research, community-partnered methodologies, and Indigenous health, particularly examining the human-animal bond in remote northern communities. Recent publications highlight her collaborative efforts in defining veterinary service gaps, optimizing sedative reversal techniques in dogs, and strengthening the human-animal bond in Indigenous communities. These studies span disciplines including community health, veterinary pharmacology, and health equity policy.
