Dr. Jordan Saul is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Choral Music Education at The Ohio State University's School of Music, where she conducts the Women’s Glee Club and Lab Choir, and advises student organizations and student teachers. Previously, she served as Associate Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music Education at Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music. She holds a BM from the University of Arizona and an MM from Westminster Choir College.
Her research and teaching emphasize socially relevant programming, prioritizing works by global majority composers, Womxn, and Womxn of Color. She collaborates with diverse artists, such as composers B. E. Boykin, the band Delta Rae, and fashion designer Valerie Mayen, to create impactful performances. Her service-learning initiatives aim to make music accessible to broader communities. Saul has presented at national conferences, including sessions on recruitment strategies for choral programs and service learning's role in music education.
As a mezzo-soprano, she has performed under renowned conductors including Alan Gilbert and Gustavo Dudamel, shaping her commitment to equitable access to high-quality musical experiences. Her work extends to leading honor choirs and clinics across the U.S., advocating for inclusive pedagogy and innovative programming.
