Dr. Jordan Morton serves as the Dean of the Pearl C. Schaffer School of Education and Associate Professor at The Master's University. She holds a California Clear Teaching Credential in English, a Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development Certificate, and an Administrative Services Credential. With over 20 years of experience in K-12 education as both teacher and administrator, she mentors student teachers and oversees the Teaching Credential program, which has grown significantly under her leadership.
Her educational background includes:
- B.A. in English from University of Oregon
- M.Ed. in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University
- Ph.D. in Education (Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment) from Walden University
Dr. Morton's research focuses on transformative teacher education methodologies, curriculum design optimization, administrative leadership in academic institutions, and culturally responsive pedagogy. She emphasizes practical classroom readiness through rigorous training programs that consistently place graduates in full-time teaching positions.
Previously, she held faculty and administrative roles at Point Loma Nazarene University, University of Phoenix, and Pacific Oaks College. Beyond academia, she contributes to her church's worship ministry and balances professional life with family responsibilities as a wife and mother.
