Dr. Jordan Harper is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership, and Policy at Morgan State University's School of Education and Urban Studies. He holds a B.A. in Individualized Study from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and a Ph.D. in Urban Education Policy (Higher Education Concentration) from the University of Southern California. His research focuses on organizations, leadership, labor/work dynamics, and qualitative methodologies in higher education contexts, particularly examining how leadership is influenced by and upholds white supremacy and neoliberalism.
