Jono Anzalone holds the position of Adjunct Faculty at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's College of Arts and Sciences, Behavioral & Social Sciences department. He concurrently serves as Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance at Thomas College and Lecturer at the University of Southern Maine. He is a Truman National Security Fellow and holds the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM®) credential. His professional background includes leadership roles at the Red Cross, including Head of Disaster and Crisis Preparedness for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the Americas and Caribbean, and Vice President of International Services at the American Red Cross. He also founded The Climate Initiative (TCI) and currently chairs the Craft Relief Emergency Fund (CERF+) and the Elmina B. Sewall Foundation's Board of Trustees.

Professional Contributions: Over 20 years of disaster response experience across 20+ countries, including crisis leadership during the 2010 Haiti earthquake and Liberia's Ebola crisis. Active in policy advocacy through National VOAD and CERF+. Current focus includes leveraging education and philanthropy in Maine.
Labs/Teams: Leads academic initiatives in disaster management at multiple institutions and chairs nonprofit boards focused on emergency relief and social equity.
