Jan Nilsson

Jan Nilsson is a Professor of Nursing at Karlstad University, Sweden, specializing in care pedagogics with a focus on healthcare professionals' competence development, emergency/prehospital care, and lifelong learning. He leads the Erasmus+ project Capacity Building in Nursing Education in Indonesia (CABNEI) and collaborates with institutions in Norway, Denmark, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. His research spans nurse professional competence, disaster nursing, and digital health technologies for chronic disease management. He teaches public/global health, disaster nursing, and research methodology across undergraduate and graduate programs.
