Jonna Tomkiewicz

Jonna Tomkiewicz is a Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Aquatic Resources, Technical University of Denmark (DTU Aqua), within the Section for Marine Living Resources. She is actively engaged in cutting-edge research on marine species, particularly focusing on the European eel (Anguilla anguilla), broodstock management, larval culture, and aquaculture sustainability. Her work contributes to global efforts in marine conservation and aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to life below water.

Her research interests center on fish reproductive physiology, larval development, aquaculture systems, and the environmental management of marine resources.
