معرفی
Jong Han is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University at Buffalo (College of Arts and Sciences, SUNY). His research focuses on condensed matter theory, particularly nonequilibrium quantum many-body physics and electron correlation effects in solids. He investigates how external electric fields drive phase transitions and modify transport properties in nanoscale systems through theoretical methods like Keldysh diagrammatic techniques, quantum Monte Carlo simulations, and exact diagonalization.

- MS, Physics, Seoul National University (1991)
- PhD, Physics, Ohio State University (1997, advisor: Daniel L. Cox)
Research Interests: His group studies resistive switching in Mott transition systems, nonlinear transport in quantum point contacts, Dirac material electronics, and self-organized magnetic patterns under bias. Recent publications emphasize nonequilibrium spectral analysis, hot carrier dynamics, and Majorana state manipulation in 2D systems.
Key Collaborations: Works with experimental groups in UB's Electrical Engineering department and international institutions to bridge theory and device applications.
