Dr. Watson’s research explores the triunity of God and the nature of church fellowship, emphasizing how baptism and the Lord’s Supper shape worship and communal identity. His dissertation, soon to be published by Lexham Press, argues for a theological catalyst linking baptism, instruction, and communion. He actively serves as an elder and Sunday school teacher at Old Fort Baptist Church in Summerville, SC, and is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. His teaching philosophy prioritizes students growing in intellectual and experiential knowledge of God to deepen worship and discipleship.
Recent publications and presentations include analysis of Christian ordinances, critiques of theological works, and discussions on integrating systematic theology with practical ministry. His forthcoming book will expand these themes in the Studies in Systematic and Historical Theology Series.
