Jonathan Siegel

Jonathan Siegel is an Associate Professor at Northwestern University, affiliated with both the School of Communication and Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. He works in the Roxelyn and Richard Pepper Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the Department of Neurobiology.

Education:

• PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri
• BS in Physics from the University of Arkansas

Research Interests:

• Auditory Physiology: Focus on otoacoustic emissions, hair cell physiology, and cochlear mechanics.
• Hearing and Neuroscience: Investigating peripheral auditory systems, middle ear physiology, and subclinical auditory damage.
• Scientific Collaboration: Partnering with labs like the K-Lab, Oregon Health and Sciences University, and University of Southern California.
