Jonathan S. Berg, MD, PhD, is the Bryson Distinguished Professor in the Departments of Genetics and Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He specializes in clinical and translational genetics, with a focus on cancer genetics and genomic medicine. His roles include Director of the Adult and Cancer Genetics Clinic and the Program in Precision Medicine in Healthcare. Dr. Berg completed his PhD (2001) and MD (2003) at UNC, followed by residency at Baylor College of Medicine (2007) and a postdoctoral fellowship (2009). He is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics and co-PI on major grants like ClinGen and NCGENES2.
