Dr Jonathan Moss is a Senior Lecturer in Quantitative Economics at the University of New England's UNE Business School. He serves as the Academic Coordinator for UNE Abroad and Acting School Education Committee Convenor. His research focuses on bioeconomic modeling for sustainability in agriculture and natural resources, with emphasis on low-carbon futures and policy development. He has extensive teaching experience in statistics, decision-making, and resource management, earning multiple teaching awards including the 2020 Australian Awards for University Teaching Citation.
Qualifications include a PhD from UNE, alongside diplomas in Horticulture and Project Management. His research spans agricultural economics, spatial econometrics, and carbon markets. He has led interdisciplinary projects on farmer resilience and climate adaptation, collaborating with CSIRO, FAO, and Meat & Livestock Australia.
