معرفی
Dr. Jonathan Moore is a Researcher and Dean of Research for the College at Bangor University's School of Psychology and Sport Science. He holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Physiology from the University of Leeds and a BSc (2:1) in Biological Sciences (Physiology) from the University of Edinburgh.
Research Interests:
- Neural control of cardiovascular function via baroreceptors and chemoreceptors
- Autonomic regulation in high-altitude hypoxia and exercise stress
- Sympathetic nervous system adaptation in health and disease
- Environmental and human circulatory control mechanisms
Article Trends: His recent work explores blood pressure regulation during thermal stress, sympathetic activation in hypoxia, and cerebrovascular responses to environmental challenges. Collaborative studies with global institutions highlight cross-population physiological adaptations.
Scientific Awards:
- British Heart Foundation Travel Fellowship (2014)
Teaching & Supervision: Dr. Moore teaches Human Physiology, Research Project, and Dissertation modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He supervises research on neural regulation of circulation and welcomes PhD candidates studying autonomic physiology.
