Jonathan Moo is the Bruner-Welch Endowed Chair in Theology at Whitworth University, where he has taught since 2010. He specializes in New Testament studies, environmental ethics, and science-faith dialogue. Moo holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, alongside degrees in wildlife ecology and theology. His research focuses on Revelation, environmental theology, and the intersection of biblical texts with ecological crises. He co-authored influential works like Creation Care: A Biblical Theology of the Natural World (2018) and frequently presents on climate change, virtue ethics, and creation care. Moo has been honored as 'Most Influential Professor' by multiple graduating classes.
