Jonathan Misurda is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Computing and Information. He earned his PhD (2011), MS (2005), and BS (2003) in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on software testing, dynamic instrumentation, and structural testing frameworks such as Jazz2, FIST, and SoftTest. He has taught numerous courses in systems domains, including CS 0449 and CS 1550, and has received the Taulbee Teaching Award twice (2005, 2006). His work on Jazz2 and FIST emphasizes efficient testing and instrumentation in Java Virtual Machines and dynamic translators.
