Jonathan Fink

Jonathan Fink is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia's Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS), and a full Professor of Geology at Portland State University. He leads the Cascadia Wildfire and Urban Smoke webinar series, focusing on interdisciplinary environmental hazards and urban resilience.

Education: PhD in Geology from Stanford University. His research interests include natural hazards, climate change impacts, and urban sustainability strategies. He has held senior administrative roles, including Vice President for Research at Portland State University and Arizona State University.
