Jonathan Duckworth

Dr. Jonathan Duckworth is an Associate Professor and Interim Associate Dean, Research & Innovation at RMIT University's School of Design. He holds a Vice Chancellor’s Research Fellowship (2012–2015) and specializes in digital media art, interaction design, and rehabilitation technology. His practice, ZedBuffer, focuses on interactive installations for government and cultural institutions, including projects like 'Resonance' for acquired brain injury (ABI) rehabilitation. Duckworth’s research integrates virtual reality (VR), tangible computing, and serious games to enhance motor and cognitive recovery for patients with neurological conditions.

Key research areas include VR-based rehabilitation systems (e.g., EDNA), interactive art for therapeutic purposes, and collaborations with medical institutions like Epworth Hospital.
