Dr. Jonathan D. Payton is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Director of Graduate Studies at Bilkent University. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto (2016) and completed a SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Calgary (2018–2020). His research focuses on metaphysics, philosophy of action, philosophy of language, and philosophical logic, with particular emphasis on negative actions and mereological theories.
