James Kinkaid is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. He holds a Ph.D. from Boston University (2019) and previously taught at Boston College and Boston University. His research focuses on phenomenology, particularly the works of Husserl and Sartre, exploring intersections with metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and logic. His work has been published in top journals like Mind, European Journal of Philosophy, and Synthese, earning awards such as the APA’s Routledge Prize (2023) and the BAGEP (2025).
