Jonathan Crosier

Jonathan Crosier is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Manchester, affiliated with the National Centre for Atmospheric Science. He holds a PhD in Atmospheric Science (2007) and BSc in Physics (2003), both from the University of Manchester. His research focuses on cloud microphysics, ice formation processes, and aerosol impacts on cloud properties. He leads the Deep Convective Microphysics Experiment (DCMEX) and contributes to the Climate and Weather Impacts on Society project.

Research interests include in-situ instrumentation for ice particle measurement, remote sensing via radar/lidar, and aerosol composition studies.
