Jonathan Bradley is an Associate Professor in Engineering Physics at McMaster University and Director of the Centre for Emerging Device Technologies. He holds the Barber-Gennum Chair in Information Technology and specializes in silicon photonics.
His research develops novel photonic materials (e.g., rare-earth-doped glasses) for integrated amplifiers, lasers, and sensors. Bradley's group focuses on CMOS-compatible photonic systems for communications, sensing, and computing. He teaches analog/digital circuits (ENGPHYS 2E04) and photonic devices (ENGPHYS 3PD4).
