Dr. Jonathan Bayley is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor, with a distinguished career in music education and performance. He previously served as Director of the School of Music and has extensive experience teaching flute, including a 15-year tenure at Alberta College Conservatory of Music. His professional engagements include performances with the UWindsor Chamber Choir, flute ensembles, and collaborative recitals with artists like Wenxian Lyu. He is actively involved in community initiatives such as the Lab School program offering youth music training in violin, viola, and cello.
Dr. Bayley has contributed to interdisciplinary projects, including an exchange program with China to prepare educators for multicultural classrooms. His volunteer work includes organizing support for university retirees during pandemic restrictions.
