Jonathan Azu is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Music Industry program at the University of Southern California. He combines academic instruction with industry leadership as the founder of Culture Collective, a management firm dedicated to amplifying artists of color and advancing diversity in entertainment. His prior executive roles include EVP & General Manager at Red Light Management, EVP of Operations for Superfly Presents, and VP of Music Partnerships at CBS Radio. Azu is a graduate of Drake University and currently serves as a Board Trustee.
His professional expertise spans music industry management, artist development, brand partnerships, and large-scale festival production (e.g., Outside Lands, Bonnaroo). His work emphasizes equitable representation and inclusive business practices.
