Jonathan Adams is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Medical Ethics, University of Oslo, focusing on ethical implications of artificial intelligence in healthcare. His work is part of the Respire project, an interdisciplinary initiative funded by the Research Council of Norway, addressing responsible AI applications for sleep-related respiratory disorders. He holds an MSc in Bioethics from King's College London and a BA in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford.
Adams' research interests bridge medical ethics, AI governance, and bioethics, with a focus on developing ethical frameworks for healthcare technologies. Key projects include evaluating AI-driven diagnostic tools and examining extended reality (XR) ethics in clinical contexts.
His publications explore topics such as stakeholder-based AI ethics, ethical-epistemic matrices for AI evaluation, and digital mental health technology implications.
