Jonathan Abraham

Jonathan Abraham, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Harvard Medical School. He leads a research laboratory located in the New Research Building where his team investigates host-pathogen interactions using structural biology, immunology, and molecular virology approaches. Their work focuses on hemorrhagic fever viruses (arenaviruses, filoviruses), arboviruses, and emerging pathogens to develop therapeutic strategies.

Research interests center on:

• Structural basis of antibody neutralization and immune evasion
• Viral polymerase function and antiviral resistance
