Jonas S. Almeida is the Director of Data Science and a Senior Investigator in the Trans-Divisional Research Program at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG). He previously held academic positions at the University of Tennessee, University of Lisbon, Medical University of South Carolina, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Stony Brook University, with a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from the University Nova of Lisbon (1995).
