Jonas Richiardi

Jonas Richiardi serves as a Principal Investigator and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Radiology, Lausanne University Hospital, Switzerland, and leads the Translational Machine Learning Laboratory. Since October 2024, he has held the position of Head for the CIBM Data Science CHUV-HUG Imaging for Precision Medicine Section, driving data science initiatives in precision medicine.

His research specializes in modeling and inference for complex multimodal biological data, with primary emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and its integration with -omics datasets (including genomics and proteomics). This work bridges machine learning and biomedical imaging to advance clinical applications in precision medicine through translational methodologies.

The Translational Machine Learning Laboratory under his direction develops advanced computational techniques for biomedical data fusion, focusing on MRI analysis and multi-omics integration to address real-world clinical challenges.
