Jonas Dovern

Prof. Dr. Jonas Dovern holds the Chair of Statistics and Econometrics at the Department of Economics and Social Sciences at FAU. He has been a Professor since 2019, previously serving as Assistant Professor at Heidelberg University (2014–2019) and Visiting Professor at RWTH Aachen University (2016). His work focuses on econometrics, macroeconomics, and forecasting methodologies. He leads the Bachelor's program in Economics at FAU and is an Associate Editor for Empirical Economics.
