Jonas Boym Flaten is a Senior Lecturer in Condensed Phase Physics at the Department of Physics, University of Oslo. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in physics from NTNU and completed a teacher training (PPU) course. His research focuses on theoretical and computational quantum mechanics, specifically developing MCTDHF theory with DVR basis for simulating multi-particle systems in quantum technology, chemistry, and nuclear physics. He collaborates with the Hylleraas Centre in Oslo and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In 2025, he co-coordinates the FYS2140 Quantum Physics course and expects to complete his current project under the supervision of Professor Morten Hjorth-Jensen.
