معرفی
Mr Jon White is a PhD student in the Department of Geography at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Prof Mia Gray. His research explores the temporality of contemporary capitalism, focusing on how emerging work regimes intersect with societal experiences of 'time squeeze'—a sense of temporal scarcity and hurriedness in modern labor systems.
Research Focus
White's work applies David Harvey's concept of space-time compression to analyze platform labor and organizational structures in the Anthropocene. Key areas include Marxist geography, political economy critiques of workplace dynamics, and the sociology of time management under capitalist systems.
