Jon Schmidt

Jon Schmidt serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of St. Thomas School of Law while holding the role of Judge on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. His practice focuses exclusively on criminal appeals involving constitutional law, convictions, sentencing restitution, and federal habeas petitions. He currently oversees the appeals unit managing all criminal appellate, postconviction, and federal habeas cases.
