Erik Withall

Erik Withall is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he facilitates the Postconviction Clinic. He graduated from Mitchell Hamline in 2012 and currently works as an Assistant State Public Defender with the Minnesota Appellate Public Defender, representing clients in appeals and postconviction relief cases.

Research and Teaching Interests: Erik emphasizes experiential learning, bridging classroom concepts with real-world legal practice. His work focuses on criminal appeals, postconviction advocacy, and clinical legal education, reflecting expertise in criminal law and public defense.
