Jon Agnone is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and holds affiliations with the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies and the eScience Institute. He earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Washington in 2010. His research focuses on data-driven discovery, labor studies, political sociology, quantitative methods, race and ethnicity, social movements, and social stratification/inquality.
Professionally, he currently serves as Plaid's Head of People Analytics, Employee Listening, and HR PMO, returning to the HR field after roles at Atlassian (Head of Business Intelligence/Strategic Analytics) and prior experience in People Analytics at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Tableau/Salesforce. His work bridges academic research with applied analytics in organizational settings.
