Joline Schmallenbach is a Scientific Associate and research assistant in the Department of German Studies at the University of Siegen, Faculty I. She is actively engaged in research on socio- and discourse linguistics, particularly focusing on political communication, legal linguistics, and corpus-based analysis. She contributes to the Discourse Monitor project and serves as Managing Editor of the International Journal of Language and Law. Additionally, she is a board member of diskursiv – Academy for Participatory Communication e.V.
