John de Wit

Prof. John de Wit is a Professor of Interdisciplinary Social Science: Public Health and Head of the Department of Interdisciplinary Social Science at Utrecht University. His research focuses on health behavior, HIV/AIDS prevention, sexual health, and social inequalities. He has led major studies on PrEP uptake, condom use trends, and the impact of pandemics on vulnerable groups. Notably, he is an IAAP Fellow and has contributed to global health policy through over 250 publications and €26M in research funding.
