Dr. John Wind is an Associate Professor of Theology at the College of Undergraduate Studies - School of Theology, Colorado Christian University (CCU). He previously served in China with his family for eight years in missionary work and now contributes to theological education and campus ministry at CCU.
- Ph.D. in Missions – Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
- Adv. M.Div. in Theology – Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
- B.A. in Bible/Communications – Northwestern College
Dr. Wind's research and teaching focus on biblical theology, covenant theology, public theology, and Christian ethics, particularly as they relate to social issues like immigration, systemic sin, and creation care. He critically engages with contemporary theological figures such as Christopher Wright and David VanDrunen, emphasizing biblical restraint and covenantal frameworks.
His recent scholarly work spans topics including the social gospel, two kingdoms theology, and the mission of the church. These publications and presentations reflect a consistent engagement with evangelical thought, biblical authority, and ethical application in public discourse.
Dr. Wind is actively involved in professional societies including the Evangelical Theological Society and the Evangelical Missiological Society. He has delivered numerous presentations and chapel messages at CCU and academic conferences, demonstrating commitment to both scholarly and spiritual formation.
