John Wihbey is an Associate Professor of Media Innovation & Technology at Northeastern University, jointly affiliated with the College of Social Sciences and Humanities and the College of Arts, Media and Design. He directs the AI-Media Strategies Lab and co-founded the Internet Democracy Initiative. His research explores social media, misinformation, and computational journalism.
