John White

John White is a Professor in the Department of Management at the United States Coast Guard Academy. Previously affiliated with Georgia Southern University's College of Business, he has received multiple teaching and research awards including Outstanding Researcher (1994, 2019), Outstanding Teacher (2005), Wells-Warren Professor of the Year (1999), and the Spirit of the Bear Award (2015). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1975) and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia (1984).
