John Wagner is a Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Sustainable Resources Management at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). He holds a Ph.D. in Forestry and Wood Science from Colorado State University (1990). His research focuses on mathematical and economic models for sustainable forest resource management, including decision-making frameworks for family forest landowners, economic valuation of timber resources, and policy analysis.
Teaching responsibilities include courses such as Introduction to Economics, Natural Resource Managerial Economics, and Forest Management Decision Making and Planning.
