John W. Reifenberg is a Professor of Law at the Law College of Michigan State University. He joined the faculty in 1978 and previously held academic positions as an Instructor at Southern Methodist University Law School and Assistant Professor of Law at Nova University Law School. He serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Canadian-United States Law and Chair of the International and Comparative Law Program.

His research and teaching focus on Torts, International Law, International Business Transactions, and Comparative Law. He authored the 1987 Jessup International Moot Court Problem and taught at Wuhan University Law School as a Fulbright Fellow during the 1990-91 academic year.
