John W. Sipple is a Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Global Development at Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). His work focuses on how public schools and communities adapt to educational and policy challenges, particularly in rural settings. He investigates the intersection of demographics, policy implementation, and fiscal stress in K-12 education, with a strong emphasis on equity, data-driven decision-making, and school-based health centers.

- M.Ed. in Education (1992), University of Virginia

He has secured over $1.68 million in grants, including NIH funding for rural health disparities and USDA projects on fiscal stress and shared services.
