John Van Reenen is the Ronald Coase Chair in Economics and School Professor at the Department of Economics, London School of Economics (LSE). He holds a PhD in Economics from University College London (UCL) and has held prominent positions including the Gordon Y. Billard Professor of Management and Economics at MIT and Director of the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) at LSE. His research focuses on applied microeconomics, innovation, productivity, and labor economics, with significant contributions to healthcare economics and management practices.
