John Tessier

John Tessier is a Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography at the University of Newcastle's School of Health Sciences. With over 30 years of experience as a radiographer, he specializes in computed tomography (CT) training and curriculum development. His qualifications include a Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Radiography (1987), a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching, a Diploma of Business, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Medical Radiation Science.

His research focuses on Work Integrated Learning (WIL), diagnostic radiography education, and safety in clinical placements. He has presented at international conferences like the World Association for Co-operative Education (WACE) and published on topics ranging from diabetic foot complications to occupational silicosis detection.
