John Tamilio is an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at Salem State University. He holds a Ph.D. from Boston University, a Post-Doctoral Research position at Harvard University, an M.Div. from Andover Newton Theological School, an M.A. from Northeastern University, and a B.A. from Salem State University.
His research spans Ethical Theory, Applied Ethics, and Philosophy of Religion, with a focus on T.S. Eliot's poetry and Deconstruction. He teaches courses including Medical Ethics, Environmental Ethics, and Internship in Philosophy, while also contributing to interdisciplinary programs in Politics and English. His work bridges philosophy, theology, and literary theory.
