John Tamilio is an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at Salem State University. He holds a Ph.D. from Boston University, a Post-Doctoral Research position at Harvard University, an M.Div. from Andover Newton Theological School, an M.A. from Northeastern University, and a B.A. from Salem State University.
His research spans Ethical Theory, Applied Ethics, and Philosophy of Religion, with a focus on T.S. Eliot's poetry and Deconstruction. He teaches courses including Medical Ethics, Environmental Ethics, and Internship in Philosophy, while also contributing to interdisciplinary programs in Politics and English.
