John Skalbeck is Professor of Geosciences and Interim Dean of the College of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He serves as Academic Director for the Master of Science in Sustainable Management program.
Education:
- B.A. in Geology, Gustavus Adolphus College
- M.S. in Geology/Geophysics, Western Washington University
- Ph.D. in Hydrogeology, University of Nevada-Reno
His research focuses on hydrogeologic applications of gravity/magnetic data modeling, wetlands characterization, and beach water quality. With over a decade of industry experience, he specialized in groundwater contamination remediation prior to his academic career.
