John Sinard, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Pathology and Ophthalmology at Yale School of Medicine, serving as Medical Director of Pathology Informatics. He specializes in anatomic pathology, ophthalmic pathology, and translational informatics. His academic interests focus on pathology informatics, clinical data management tools, and quality assurance. Sinard received his MD and PhD from Johns Hopkins University and completed residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Education: AB in Biology (Harvard, 1982), MD/PhD (Johns Hopkins, 1990), residency in Pathology (Yale, 1993), and fellowship in Anatomic Pathology (Yale, 1995).
