John Schulz is a Professor of Digital Education at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the School of Education. He is a global authority on Video-Based Learning, having developed one of the university’s first fully online MSc programs in Education. Since 2023, he has served as Academic Lead for the strategic Southampton Online project, which supports schools and facilities in creating online courses. He established and directs the School of Education’s Digital Media Studio (since 2010), a state-of-the-art facility with multi-cam recording, podcasting, and live broadcasting capabilities.
