Professor John Quiggin is a prominent Professor of Economics at the University of Queensland's School of Economics within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. He holds the position of Professorial Research Fellow and is affiliated with the Centre for Behavioural and Economic Science. With over 1500 publications including six books and more than 200 refereed journal articles, Quiggin is recognized both as a leading research economist and a significant commentator on Australian economic policy.
